Hidden Soul of the Fjords – The HEART of this project is the exploration of the deeper layers of experience (Soul) that exist in the extraordinary Fjord regions of Western Norway. Created and crafted by Bergen-based, Norwegian composer/artist/musician/performer Heidi Torsvik and American composer/producer Winter Lazerus; Hidden Soul of the Fjords is an hour long, 4 Song-Cycle that falls somewhere between neo-Opera and Massive Attack and includes the use of diverse “Field Recordings” made while living in the fjord region of Western Norway. It is designed for Transmedia which means there are many ways that Hidden Soul of the Fjords can be presented. Formats from Performances on stages and and Concert Halls to new technological areas such as Immersive Dome theaters to Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality to App’s and Games and presentations with standard Movie screens and live performance. The 4 titles of the Song-Cycle are: Part One: Presence – Part Two: Beneath The Surface Touch The Sky – Part Three: Shining Darkness – Part Four – Heart.
